The position of the FoP on important issues
- Public debate with mayoral candidates - 25.10.2010
- The FoP actively promoted the idea of a public debate between all mayoral candidates in the local elections of November 2010. This took place on 25.10.2010, based on common questions agreed between the local associations.
- Our views: alternative forms of tourism for Paros - Autumn 2009
- For years the tourist industry of Paros complain about the short season and low occupancy. The FoP have argued that there are many underexploited opportunities to develop alternative forms of tourism, including its archaeological sites, monasteries and footpaths.
- Our views: the proposed Spatial Plan - Spring 2008
- On 7 March 2008 the Municipality of Paros presented the 2nd phase of an important study concerning the General Town Plan for the island of Paros. The FoP have made constructive comments on this study stressing the importance of maintaining the cycladic character of the island and avoiding overdevelopment.
