“PAROS 2020”: an initiative of the FoP
Τhe Friends of Paros are helping the local people – local institutions and other local stakeholders – develop a long term vision and strategic plan for Paros.
Τhe Friends of Paros would like to help the local people – main local institutions and other local stakeholders – develop a medium-to-long term vision for Paros, which in common with current international practice could be called “Paros 2020”.
The discussion on a suitable and systematic framework for “Paros 2020” has started on four groups of issues concerning:
A. Population and urban development
B. Community / Services
C. Economy / Tourism and other sectors
D. Environment
The contribution of all who love the island and care for its future is welcome and in this phase can be made by posting comments and suggestions on our webside at the end of this page or by e-mail to info@friendsofparos.com
The work that has been carried out so far is summarised in the e-Bulletin 4 of the FoP.
